Knowledge session ‘Sustainability in Germany’ by Plants & Flowers Foundation Holland

The Flora Spring Expo is not only about the latest spring assortment and bringing together growers and (international) buyers, but also focuses on in-depth content. On both days of the fair, a varied programme of knowledge sessions will be offered, covering current topics in the floriculture sector. These sessions are open to all and provide directly applicable insights for retailers, buyers, exporters, growers and other professionals in the industry.

One of these knowledge sessions is Sustainability Germany, provided by Plants & Flowers Foundation Holland. During this session, current insights from the European Consumer Monitor on how German consumers view sustainability will be shared. This knowledge is relevant for growers and traders who export or want to export to the German market.

In the session, we will delve deeper into the perceptions and expectations of German consumers within the flower and plant sector. Based on recent studies, we will discuss which aspects of sustainability are considered most important, how consumers assess sustainability claims and what differences are visible between generations. The insights will help companies to better align their positioning, product presentation and communication with the German market, where transparency and convincing sustainability are becoming increasingly important.

The knowledge sessions are short, concrete and directly applicable. They offer a valuable opportunity to gain new knowledge, find inspiration for your own business operations and engage in conversation with experts from the sector.

When will these knowledge sessions be held?
